Institution launches digital publication featuring decisions from eight arbitrations; professionals and academics have free and open access
By Marcelo Picolo
The Center for Arbitration and Mediation of the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce (CAM-CCBC) has just made available on its website a series of arbitral awards on corporate matters. These decisions, issued in proceedings administered by the institution, were made public due to legal or judicial reasons.
This is the second edition of the compendium, which gathers selected arbitral awards in a single place, offering structured access and free consultation. With this initiative, the institution aims to enhance transparency and facilitate access to arbitral decisions—typically confidential—providing valuable insights for professionals and academics.
This volume features decisions rendered in eight arbitrations involving, for example, the composition of purchase prices for equity stakes and payment conditions, price revision of partners’ interests, assessment of liabilities, and compliance—or lack thereof—with contractual obligations.
Previously, the Chamber had released the first edition of the compendium, focused on Public Administration. Soon, the public will also have access to upcoming volumes covering Commercial Contracts, Real Estate, Financial Sectors, and Construction and Energy.
The publication is available on the CAM-CCBC website. To access it, simply click the link.
