Lawyer Paulo Perrotti was re-elected for another term in the CCBC, referring to the 2019-2020 biennium. In 2017, he became the 22nd President of the Chamber by replacing Esther Donio Bellegarde Nunes. According to Perrotti, among the brands of his management are boldness and innovation, added to the appreciation of diversity.
“In CCBC trade does not boil down to market activities. We believe in creative, collaborative, open, free and unrestricted economics. Diversity is something that is part of the DNA of both Canadian and Brazilian people. And we were able to implant this same diversity in our performance, not being restricted only to some sectors of the economy”, he says.
No wonder CCBC has been operating in diverse markets, such as mining, technology, health, food and beverage, education, foreign trade and infrastructure.
Regarding the entity’s plans for 2019, the president highlights the creation of a mentoring module in the Connection Bureau, a platform of the Chamber that approaches startups and investors. “We aim to develop new markets, always with an eye towards internationalization, using both countries as springboards for the world. We want to play an extremely important role in the entrepreneur’s life”, he says.
Paulo Perrotti holds a law degree from PUC-SP. He holds a post-graduate degree in Business Administration from the São Paulo Getulio Vargas Foundation; specialization in Information Technology Law in IBMEC/SP, in Canada and Quebec Law in the University of Quebec to Montreal (UQÀM), in Market Finance at the Institute of Finance and Social Responsibility in ESPM/SP.
