The Center for Arbitration and Mediation of the Chamber of Commerce Brazil–Canada (CAM-CCBC) and Jus Mundi, a legal technology platform that uses artificial intelligence to provide access to global databases on international law and arbitration, have launched free and open access to their comprehensive collection of AI-generated summaries of arbitral awards.
The collection represents a new standard for arbitration transparency. Created using Jus AI, Jus Mundi’s arbitration agent, and verified by professionals with sector expertise—through a review process designed to ensure accuracy across the drafting of the summaries—these materials provide access to arbitral insights while preserving confidentiality where required.
Democratized intelligence
The CAM-CCBC and Jus Mundi initiative marks the first systematic application of AI purpose-built for arbitration in transparency initiatives. Each summary preserves the nuanced reasoning that defines high-quality arbitral analysis, while making key legal insights accessible to practitioners, arbitrators, academics, and students worldwide.
Future volumes of public arbitral awards will also rely exclusively on Jus AI, leveraging its specialized features developed for arbitration and its proven ability to deliver practical insights.
Quality access
Public arbitral awards preserve full procedural confidentiality while expanding access to arbitration knowledge through carefully anonymized, AI-generated summaries created with Jus AI’s specialized capabilities.
Jus AI understands the complexity of arbitration in ways that generic AI cannot match, ensuring that summaries maintain the accuracy and nuance essential to high-quality arbitral analysis.
The launch during the XII CAM-CCBC Arbitration Congress, held on October 20–21, underscores the importance of this transparency initiative for the Brazilian arbitration community and sets a precedent for international adoption.
Jean-Rémi de Maistre, CEO and co-founder of Jus Mundi, stated that the platform is redefining transparency through Jus AI, the only AI built specifically for arbitration professionals.

According to CAM-CCBC President Rodrigo Garcia da Fonseca, the collection marks an important step in the institution’s ongoing commitment to promoting transparency and accessibility in arbitration. “By combining our institutional expertise with Jus Mundi’s cutting-edge AI capabilities, we are not only expanding access to arbitral knowledge, but also reinforcing Brazil’s role as a leader in innovation within the international arbitration community,” he stated.
“The launch of these AI-generated summaries reflects our belief that technology, when used responsibly, can strengthen trust in arbitration and enhance the way professionals, academics, and institutions engage with arbitral reasoning,” Fonseca added.
Availability and impact
The collection is now available on the Jus Mundi platform. Additional volumes will be released based on case developments and institutional collaboration.
This initiative stems from the partnership announcement between the institutions in October 2024, further expanding CAM-CCBC’s and Jus Mundi’s commitment to arbitration transparency through specialized AI resources.
