Ref: CAM-CCBC official calendar for 2025

The CAM-CCBC Executive Board, in the use of the powers conferred upon it by article 11, item ‘VI’, of the CAM-CCBC Rules of Procedure, approved on March 30, 2023, hereby informs that the CAM-CCBC[1] will not be open for business on weekends and on the following dates in 2025:

Furthermore, to promote effective workflow, we would like to inform that CAM-CCBC will be in recess from December 22, 2025 until January 11, 2026. Unless otherwise agreed upon by the parties, all deadlines will be suspended during the recess outlined in this calendar.

The time limits for emergency arbitrator proceedings are continuous, starting on the day following receipt of the notification and ending on the due date. The provisions of Articles 3.4.1[2] , 3.5[3] and 3.5.1[4] of the 2022 Arbitration Rules do not apply. For urgent contact during the recess period, please send an e-mail to [email protected].

[1] The São Paulo office is used as a reference for defining CAM-CCBC’s working days, although it also has a unit in Rio de Janeiro.

[2] 2022 Arbitration Rules, art. 3.4.1 | The deadline is deemed to be extended to the first following business day if the due date falls on a non-business day at the seat of the arbitration. Until the seat of arbitration has been determined, business days shall be deemed to be those on which CAM-CCBC is open for business, in accordance with the official CAM-CCBC calendar.

[3] 2022 Arbitration Rules, art. 3.5 | Compliance with time limits by the parties may occur on a day when the CAM-CCBC is not open, even though the secretariat may adopt administrative measures only on the day when its services resume.

[4] 2022 Arbitration Rules, art. 3.5.1 | Unless otherwise agreed upon by the parties, periods of time will be suspended during the recess period defined in the CAM-CCBC official calendar.
