Eric Marcusson received his Ph.D. from the University of California, San Diego in 1995. He has been working for 25 years in the biotechnology industry, leading teams in preclinical research for RNA therapeutics. Eric was Director of Oncology at Ionis Pharmaceuticals and Senior Director of Oncology and Basic Mechanisms at Regulus Therapeutics. He co-founded Providence Therapeutics in 2015 and is the Chief Scientific Officer of the company which is developing mRNA vaccines for infectious diseases and cancer.
