By Pedro Augusto
The Center for Arbitration and Mediation of the Chamber of Commerce Brazil-Canada (CAM-CCBC) has just released the third volume of its digital publication series featuring public arbitral awards. This edition is dedicated to disputes involving commercial contracts and presents the full text of decisions issued in proceedings that became public due to legal or judicial reasons.
The initiative reinforces CAM-CCBC’s commitment to transparency and provides a valuable reference for legal professionals, academics, and others interested in understanding the logic behind arbitral proceedings involving contractual disputes. The eight selected awards address topics such as breach of contract clauses, contract revision, fulfillment of obligations, and party liability.
With clear language and an organized structure, the compendium is available for free on the CAM-CCBC website. Previous volumes in the series cover Public Administration and Corporate Law topics. Upcoming editions will explore themes related to the real estate market, construction, and the energy and finance sectors. Access it here.
