The Chamber of Commerce Brazil-Canada (CCBC) has just opened an office in Curitiba (PR). The announcement took place during an event at Oscar Niemeyer Museum (MON) and is part of an initiative supported by the Consulate General of Canada and the Quebec Office, both based in S\u00e3o Paulo. The Paran\u00e1 Chapter will promote local and specific actions involving companies and institutions from the state and Canada, with the aim of stimulating trade relations and bilateral investments in various sectors.                                                                                                                    <\/p>

The choice of Curitiba was strategic, as the state of Paran\u00e1 has a strong presence in several sectors. “There are common interests and priorities between Paran\u00e1 and Canada in adopting collaborative and sustainable actions and projects in the areas of innovation and research, culture, education and trade relations. With this office, CCBC wants to further share its expertise through an ecosystem created especially to encourage and accelerate this important networking between Paran\u00e1 and Canadian institutions and companies,” evaluates Paulo de Castro Reis, CCBC’s Institutional Relations Director.<\/p>

The Paran\u00e1 Chapter will be coordinated by Marcia Beatriz Cavalcante and Wendell Alexandre Paes de Andrade de Oliveira, with the support of Alessandra Dabul in the Development Committee. Marcia highlighted the importance of having a CCBC office to help foster business between the state and the North American country.                                                                                                <\/p>

“Paran\u00e1 has a strong presence in the energy, food, and healthcare sectors, which, combined with the startup ecosystem, offer great opportunities for synergy. We can contribute to expand the exports and business of Paran\u00e1 companies in Canada and identify opportunities for bilateral cooperation in different projects and sectors,” she evaluates.<\/p>
