The proposal is to expand business in a market that continues on an upward trend and is expected to to expand over the next few years.<\/p>\n<p>According to the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Crop Survey 2020\/2021 of the National Supply Company (Conab), the production of sugarcane in Brazil should reach 642.1 million tons. The volume will lead to a record production of 39.3 million tons of sugar, which means a 32% growth compared to the previous harvest. The figure places the country as the world&#8217;s largest sugar producer for the second consecutive year.
