Makane Moïse Mbengue is a Professor of International Law at the University of Geneva, where he also serves as Director of the Department of International Law and International Organization. He holds a Ph.D. in Public International Law from the University of Geneva and is an Affiliate Professor at Sciences Po Paris. Since 2017, he has been the President of the African Society of International Law (AfSIL). Mbengue is an Associate Member of the Institut de Droit International and a Member of the Curatorium of The Hague Academy of International Law. He has worked as an expert for multiple international organizations, including the African Union, United Nations, WHO, and the World Bank.

Giuditta Cordero-Moss is a Professor at Oslo University, specializing in contract law, private international law, and arbitration. With a Dr. juris from Oslo and a PhD from Moscow, she has been an international arbitrator since 2002. Previously a corporate lawyer, she has published and lectured extensively worldwide. She serves as the Norwegian delegate to UNCITRAL’s Working Group on Arbitration, President of the International Academy of Comparative Law, and a member of The Hague Academy’s Curatorium. She was also a member of the ICC Court of Arbitration and has held leadership roles in the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Administrative Tribunal and Norwegian regulatory bodies.
