Ever since its inception in September 1973, the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce has made efforts to bring Brazil and Canada closer.

It is a not-for-profit entity, whose mission is to foster, support and expand trade and investment relations between private companies in Brazil and Canada.

We have been actively encouraging the exchange between the two countries, whether technological or cultural or trade-related, thus establishing a communication channel with entities involved in the Brazil-Canada relationship. CCBC promotes meetings of its Board of Directors' members with Ministerial Government Authorities to support member company interests, divulging the viewpoints of the business community to the government, contributing to policy formulation and endorsing deregulation of the economic environment, while fostering competitiveness.

CCBC's main objective is to help and assist its members in developing their businesses and networking contacts between Brazil and Canada.

Membership categories are:

Individual Persons
Individual Persons is the category in which a registered member participates in all Chamber activities and initiatives.

Corporate Persons
Corporate Persons is the category in which members comprise micro, small, medium-size and large companies. Corporate persons can appoint representatives to take part in different Chamber activities.

Class Entities with no Registered Capital
This category encompasses associations, class entities and similar institutions.
